FieldTurf and U.S. Soccer Foundation award $1.65 million in Footprint Fields grants

FieldTurf and the U.S. Soccer Foundation have once again joined forces to award eighteen Footprint Fields grants that support the development of new FieldTurf soccer fields around the country.  The Footprint Fields program, supported by adidas, FieldTurf and MLS W.O.R.K.S., provides safe places for children to play in communities across America. This marks the 10th straight year that FieldTurf and the U.S. Soccer Foundation have provided field building grants, totaling approximately $10 million.

“The U.S. Soccer Foundation is honored to partner with FieldTurf in support of this wonderful program,” said Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation.  “As a company, their track record is unparalleled and the product speaks for itself.  FieldTurf is a leader in the industry and we are proud to partner with them in the creation of safe places for children to play nationwide. ”

“The Footprint Fields program is a tremendous opportunity for FieldTurf and the U.S. Soccer Foundation to build safer playing fields across America,” said FieldTurf President Eric Daliere.  “Not only are we helping communities in need, we’re promoting the beautiful game of soccer among very deserving kids.”
